The groups name is often abbreviated as Baemon (Hangul: 배몬; Romanization: baemon).
Their formation was documented through their reality show Last Evaluation. The groups name showcases the young ages of the members in contrast with their “monster-like” skills.
Their fans are called MONSTIEZ (Hangul: 몬스티즈; Romanization: monstijeu), combining “MONS” from “Monster” with the word “TIES”, signifying their close bond with their fans.
The group debuted with 6 members on November 27, 2023 with their single <Batter Up>. Member Ahyeon was absent from promotions due to health issues, and rejoined the lineup with their official debut on April 1, 2024 with mini album <BABYMONS7ER>.
