4. The “Lightsaber (Drop)” after Lay’s part is definitely Xiumin not Kai. You can hear a clear difference with Kai’s “Lightsaber” at the end from this one which sounds like Xiumin’s voice.

   1. I do not believe Xiumin is in this song at all due to his drama filming/OST being released. I also think if he were actually in the song he would have a more substantial part.

      1. But that is definitely not Kai’s voice, if you listen it sounds substantially different to the last “Lightsaber” which sounds like Kai. Also the song could have been recorded before Xiumin was shooting for his drama.

      2. Xiumin’s never had great parts to begin with and not one of us exactly knows when they recorded this song. For all we know, they recorded this track at different times & places. Xiumin has a part in this song, if he didn’t, you’d hear every Xiumin stan cursing SM online.

      3. Lay has been so busy he’s barely even with the rest of the group anymore and he recorded it, so that doesn’t make sense. This is pretty normal part distribution for Xiumin, and it is 100% his voice. It doesn’t sound anything like Kai, and you even have Kai’s version of the line to compare it to at the end of the song. They’re not the same. There is nothing to confirm that Xiumin isn’t in the song, and it would make no sense for him not to be. Unfortunately, he’s just in the bad position of not being vocal line, not being rap line, and not being in this video, thus no reason to give him more than a small line to let everyone know he’s there.

         1. After listening to it several times, i can confidently agree that the “lightsaber” before the drop is sung by Xiumin; it’s definitely his voice. Lay has also been incredibly busy in China yet he recorded a full verse so Xiumin could definitely have recorded one word. It’s definitely not Kai.

   1. Regarding Kai and Sehun’s parts I put the primary member who sings/raps and left the members that are only back-tracking out. Also I do not believe Xiumin is in this song at all due to his drama filming/OST being released. I also think if he were actually in the song he would have a more substantial part.

   3. i do kind of agree with this. the first “lightsaber” sounded like xiumin bcs it was a bit different than kai’s at the last part.

      i’m not sure about this though, but the “Woo Oh Woo Oh” part seems to be different for every chorus. the first one is baekhyun, second is d.o and the last one seems to be chen’s.

7. Please listen to those above ^ the first “Lightsaber” is 100% NOT Kai, and is 100% Xiumin’s voice. Lay is in China all the time, yet he had time to record his part for this song. So it’s easy to deduct, Xiumin was able to record his part for this song, not matter how small. And Xiumin, despite having a good voice, always gets the crumbs when it comes to line distribution. It’s not shocker his only solo line is the 1st “Lightsaber”. Also, “piwonael sigan
   gamchun neoui nunmulmajeo” is [SEHUN/XIUMIN], you can tell because of Xiumin’s strong accent. The rest after is either [SEHUN/D.O./XIUMIN] or just [SEHUN/D.O.] Hopefully you decide to change the CC lyrics to the correct version.

    1. You’re misinterpreting the voices, the high parts were all recorded by D.O. Definitely not Xiumin, since his voice gets very whiny when he sings high.

       But I didn’t add D.O to the colorcoding because the lyrics monitors at concerts only show Sehun and Xiumin’s names, meaning D.O’s recordings were purely meant for ‘editing’, and not to be D.O’s parts. He also never sings them live.

       1. I’ve seen many people commenting that it was D.O. But I believed to be Xiumin in the background on both sides because there seems to be no difference in his and Sehun’s voice, at least in these two lines.

          Then the voice of D.O. would it be just a complement, a sound effect to make the line cooler?
