누구도 날 그려준 적 없었어
막연하게 두 손에 쥔 붓과 나
날 받쳐줄 캔버스 따윈 없어서
불안하게 엇나간 선과 그리고 나

나 잘하고 있는 건지 잘 그리고 있는 건지
대답해 줄 사람은 없었어
엇나가고 비뚤어진 밑그림을 지워내 줄
지우개는 결국엔 나였어

눈앞이 하얘질 때마다 도화지라 생각해
그 막연히 하얀 앞날에
그냥 뭐든 그려나가면 돼
눈물에 꿈은 수채화로 물들어가네 예쁘게

붓을 들어 뭐든 그려
딱 열 번만 열 번만 실패해보면 돼
너를 그려 꿈을 이뤄
딱 열 번만 열 번만 다시 그리면 돼

하얗게 텅 비어버린 마음속
그윽하게 예쁜 너의 표정에
물들어지던 그 순간을 나는
추억이라 부르네 너와 그리고 나

내 어색한 데생까지 다 이유가 있을 거라
감상하던 널 위해서라면
그래 난 할 수 있어 멀리 저 꿈의 미술관
나는 나를 걸어 낼 거라고

어쩜 우린 다 같은 터널을 지나네
일단은 걷자 몇 발짝 걷다 또 쉬더라도
포기하지 말자 저 터널 끝에
네가 바라는 그게 있어

No one ever drew it for me
It was just me and the paint brush in my hands
Didn’t have a canvas to hold me
The uneven lines and me

Whether I’m doing it well or drawing it well
No one gave me the answers
The one to erase the crooked lines in my sketches
It was me at the end of the day

Whenever I blank out I think of it as a clean sheet
On the blank page the future holds
I can draw whatever it is
My dreams would turn into beautiful watercolors with my tears

Draw whatever I could with my paint brush
It will only take ten times of failure
I draw you and my dream comes true
It will only take ten more sketches

The white void in my heart
The beautiful face you make
The moment I am filled with it
Is called a memory you and me

My awkward drawing must have a reason
For you who would be admiring it
I’ll make it happen a long way to the museum of my dreams
I will walk my way through
