About
tripleS (Hangul: 트리플에스; Romanization: teuripeuleseu) is a 24-member girl group from MODHAUS.
Helmed by former LOONA Creative Director Jaden Jeong, tripleS is a project that echoed LOONA’s solo pre-debut singles rollout with utilizing subunits instead, and introducing the members one by one over the course of 2 years. Members can rotate throughout various subunits.
The group is unique in its fan participation, where fans can choose the songs, names of subunits, members participating, and more through “Objekts” provided in the corresponding app.
Many of the members participated in various survival shows before they debuted in tripleS. Yooyeon and Jiwoo participated in My Teenage Girl, with the latter also appearing on Queendom Puzzle with Seoyeon; Chaeyeon was previously in Busters & CutieL; Kotone, Nien, and Xinyu participated in Girls Planet 999, and Chaewon was on Universe Ticket.
The group debuted as a full group on 8 May 2024, though the first subunit – Acid Angel from Asia (AAA) – debuted on 28 October 2022.
