CIX (Hangul: 씨아이엑스; Romanization: sshiaiekseu) is a 4 member boy group from C9 Entertainment.
CIX debuted on July 23, 2019 with their first mini album, ‘HELLO’ Chapter 1. Hello, Stranger. Their group name stands for “Complete in X.” Their fandom name is FIX (Hangul: 픽스; Romanization: pikseu). It stands for “Faith in X.”
Prior to CIX’s debut, Bae Jinyoung was a Produce 101 Season 2 contestant, ultimately ranking 10th and debuting in Wanna One. In addition to MIXNINE, BX participated in YG Treasure Box alongside Seunghun.
Following the expiration of Bae Jinyoung‘s contract, he had decided to not renew with C9 Entertainment. On August 5, 2024, C9 Entertainment announced that CIX will be continuing as 4.
