Dreamcatcher (Hangul: 드림캐쳐, Romanization: deurimkaechyeo; Japanese: ドリームキャッチャー, Romanization: doriimukyachaa) is a 7-member girl group from Dreamcatcher Company, formerly Happyface Entertainment.
Originally debuting as MINX on 9 August 2014 with members JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, and Dami – and a markedly different sound – Dreamcatcher re-debuted on 13 January 2017 with the addition of members Handong and Gahyeon. With their signature dark rock, metal, and electronic sound, the group changed to a concept exploring dreams and nightmares. Fittingly, their fandom name is InSomnia (인썸니아).
Members JiU, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, and Dami all competed on MIXNINE. Handong competed on Idol Producer/You With You 2. Siyeon and Yoohyeon were also contestants on V-1.
